Hello,
"I think im able to create such a sword, would you please reply and link me a website how to export .3ds files to the fable type of 3d file? It would be awesome, I have no idea how to convert 3ds files to fable 3d files though, or is there another way to use the .3ds files for Fable?"
Thanks alot!
EDIT:
''Alright, ive made something that looks a little bit like it, although its ass-ugly and VERY low poly its just to test if it works in Fable, sorry to disappoint you my friend, this was a 10 minute work
If this thing works in Fable, im intrested to make a detailed Sword of Narsil from Lord of the Rings then give it a 1000 damage asspower and all augmentations PWNT.''
"By the way, a bit off topic... I was wondering if it wouldnt be to much work to program a little extra in Fable, like the magic and the combat. Is it possible to make it a bit like Magician/Warrior type? So if you choose sword your magic power will decrease but skills like Physical Shield will be higher in attack, and if you equip a magic staff(dont think something like that is implanted, maybe someone or me can make it in 3dmax, a couple of staffs and wands then import it into Fable) then increase the value of magic points, and the magic damage. So Fable will be a bit more job-choosing like. Just a thought ^^^."
I feel... Thin...

If you export a sword from the game using Fable Explorer and view it in 3Ds Max you will see the models helpers and such. These need to be present or thye game will have a fit.
There is nothing in the Void.
There is no point to it's being.
I wish there was a reason.
There is nothing in the Void,
But what we put there.

Thats an effect called Fire Lightning which Marcopolo had used on a sword.
Taken from a post by Marcopolo in the Screenshots thread: | 1. Open Fable Explorer
2. Click the weapon you want
3. Click cweapondef
4. Look through effects.big for the effect you want (the one i used is called fire lightning or something to that affect)
5. Scroll down in the cweapondef and find the effects section (it should be marked)
6. Change the current numbers in the 2 boxes to the id number of the effect that you want
7. Apply/save changes
|
Hope that helps.
