I am just wondering now if i want my hero to be able to wear jack of blades robes/armour or nostro's armour how would i go about doing so?

you can't, the armour is part of the model. Extracting the armour off the NPC's model is strenuous.

Yes, in fable explorer, go into CREATURES, then find CREATURE_HERO and switch the "graphic" number with the "graphic number under the desired creature.

Note that some models won't sheathe your weapons properly.
