hey, i just wanted to know what sort of programs are out there to make new models for fable. and wht you would recommend for someone new to modeling. also i would like to nkow how you get the models loaded into able explorer so i can actually use them. thanks

Anything that can import/export DirectX .x files. The plugins for 3ds Max are shoddy at best and require hand editing of the file in a text editor to get them to import into FE. Blender I know nothing about. But from past versions it didn't support bone weighting so clothing, Characters, and Animated Bows/Crossbows are out.

so basically what your saying is...there aren't any 'good' ones. but swords are pretty much gonna be the extent of what i make to begin with, so that's alright then.
