EDIT:Due to the testing stage of the current Skeleton Import stuff I just wouldn't feel right releasing some of these suits as final Packages. So I hi-jacking my own thread for all Work In Progress Suits. Razz

Due to some graphical glitches with my model imports this is going to be a beta release. Wink

OBJECT_HERO_GLOVES_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_SHIRT_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_TROUSERS_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_BOOTS_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_HELMET_THUNDER

If anyone wants to make some static menu models please feel free. Because I haven't taken the time to do it yet.

To add a SUIT to the menu:
INVENTORY_TYPE_CLOTHING->F95A6F22 (Suit Array)
Add the HERO_SUIT_THUNDER_ARMOUR from fmp

INVENTORY_CATEGORY_CLOTHES_SUITS
->953228EE (Number of Max Suits)
make sure this is greater than or equal to the number of suits in the suit array

Load the FMP. There will now be a game.bin->THING->HERO_SUIT_THUNDER_ARMOUR all ready to go.

You simply have to link it to the INVENTORY_TYPE_CLOTHING (Of which you'll need the latest xml file uploaded to the Fable Explorer thread in utilities).

Maze Robe and Boots.

OBJECT_HERO_BOOTS_MAZE
OBJECT_HERO_SHIRT_MAZE

Pants cause clipping. So I disabled the ability to wear them along with beards. So you can only wear boots, gloves, and hats with the robe.

If I ever get the urge to weight the gloves then I'll update this post.

Yes. Exactly as the mask and hoodies do. There's an entry in the AppearanceDef that specifies what slots it takes on the body. I included beard and hips.

They'd have to be in different inventory categories. Hence why I was trying to add a mask category. So you could were Hats with masks. Wink

Just to clarify. The body slots don't "Attach" the model. It simply states that it occupies that slot so nothing else can.

You can have a mask that occupies no slots. But then it would clip with beards and mustaches.

If that was how it worked for the Thunder suit I'm guessing there's an equivalent entry for the Maze suit.

You can't spawn a suit entry. But spawning all the peices will make it show up in your menu automatically.

Menu ? You mean your list of clothing ?

Mcchips

How do u put the thunder suit in menu?

To add a suit to the suits list:

Load the FMP. There will now be a game.bin->THING->HERO_SUIT_THUNDER_ARMOUR all ready to go.

You simply have to link it to the INVENTORY_TYPE_CLOTHING (Of which you'll need the latest xml file uploaded to the Fable Explorer thread in utilities).

Note:
The items will not appear in your clothing list on their own, you will need to add the individual clothing items to a chest and then pick them up.

The items you will need to add to a chest are :

OBJECT_HERO_GLOVES_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_SHIRT_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_TROUSERS_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_BOOTS_THUNDER
OBJECT_HERO_HELMET_THUNDER

Mcchips

how do u getr the xml file?

One is provided with Fable Explorer but the latest version is available from the first post here along with the latest version of Fable Explorer itself.

When you have the xml file simply cut and paste it into the folder you have Fable Explorer in and say yes when it asks you to overwrite.

i imported it to the game.
what i don't get is "simply add it to INVENTORY_TYPE_CLOTHING"

um...what?

and the only way of getting them is.... through a chest?

can't you just have it so they replace the guild armor?
how would you do that

Ok, I know this mod isn't 'finished', but somehow if I spawn a scripted shopkeeper with the suit parts in his inventory, the game crashes when I want to view the helmet in the trading screen.
All other clothing parts work fine in the trading screen.

I've been browsing through the CDefs to find a problem, but no luck.

Besides this, the clothing itself works fine when spawned in a chest, and doesn't crash when the hero wears it.

[note]
Same thing happens with the Darth Nihilus Mask.

The Seperated Assassin Mask and the Fire Assassin Hat don't have this problem.

You open the INVENTORY_TYPE_CLOTHING entry, find the array with all of the suits in it, add an entry to the array. The number you put in the newly-made empty entry will be the entry ID# of the HERO_SUIT_THUNDER_ARMOUR found under the THING sub-tree.
