I believe all 3ds max is used for involving textures is the texture map, not sure how to make one though Sad

Textures are made in programs like photoshop or The GIMP. 3ds Max is used for modelling

u click UVW unwrap under modifiers then u can set the permimeters and save the unwrap(skin)
