is there a way to get rid of sub_movement_dummy without making the game crash. then you could walk through anything, right?

No. It's part of the character's skeleton. Removing it would also prevent the player from ever moving.

Free roam app can disable the area clipping. And physic's models are linked in the sub-header of the models, removing them would disable clipping.

THe issue with hitting an invisible wall in the areas is do to the game not loading all the area's at once. It only loads a sub-section and is controlled in the FinalAlbion.wld

could you move it really high into the air to get the effect?

I thought the trees an such were part of the level mesh? Doesn't that mean it's in the STB?

That won't work for what you want. This is all an animation issue. And animations aren't supported.

STB flora doesn't have clipping. And yes apart from a few trees they are "referenced" in the stb.
