Whenever I change the shot of my bow to the mesh number of an enemy, like summoner...it crashes my game, what am I doing wrong? Confused

you don't change it to the mesh's number, you change it to the creatures number, or change the arrows mesh itself.

I typed in the id for Creature_Summoner_01, which is 1215...and that's what crashes my game...sorry, still learning how to mod properly X_X

Easiest way is to change the object that the shot uses. It doesn't require an object entry specifically, creature entries work as well Wink

Are you changing the SHOT in the CWeaponDef, or are you going to the SHOT itself and changing the ObjectDef inside of it?

That's what you're doing wrong, you need to change in Object used in the SHOT itself.

No, under SHOT category (not object or creature) and go to the SHOT of what your bow uses, then go to it and look for ObjectDef and it'll shot out that object.

Warning, if you change it to a creature, you can not hurt it with melee, you can hurt it with everything else (and NPC can hurt it), it just you can't melee them.

keep looking, it's there somewhere, it can be hard to find but its there. If it helps pull up everything at once and look for (writing in blue) OBJECT_ARROW_SINGLE.

Edit - The number for it is also 97A21D15

...I hate this...I typed in the creature ID for a summoner and it still crashes...but then I changed it to SoA and it works...X_X
