this is a recolor of the master longsword to make it into a pimp sword just replace the texture of any longsword you like (i replaced the brass longsword one so it would take the place of the master longsword) and have fun in the game dont forget to change the alpha back to one when you load a textureindex.php?t=getfile&id=4597&private=0


what it looks like in game

please tell me your opinion of this and if i should keep trying

Its a bit bright and... well not evil enough for my liking but its probably great well done. oh and anyone know how i import an X file

hehe people kept screaming at me when i asked them to make me one to make it myself so i did Very Happy



Also i know the handle is too bright i tried for like a half hour to make it darker but i cant without the background color overpowering the purple I'm just not that advanced with paint.net

suggestions:
handle should be leopard pattern Cool
blade should look gold or diamond (alpha channels are ur friend)
it should say Mack Daddy in diamonds or gold on the blade

This isn't exactly a photoshop help forum.
You could try this tutorial and see if it helps you.
If not, perhaps you could use the almighty and powerful Google to find a photoshop tutorial to suit your needs.

That tutorial kept the details of the picture, I'm sure. But in any case, if Google didn't find a tutorial good enough, I have something else you can try.

This is a common retexturing tool used by our developers.

For instructions, hit F1 while running the program.

but that recoloring is easy because is a simple rose... to recolor a sword its hard because there are details u need to leave... i think theres a fnction to remplace the color it has now for other one... i dont really know... but i really need help
