Hello, I was thinking, why does a good hero has to be blonde? so I made a simple mod that replaces the blonde hair with the regular, black one which I think looks cooler.

think it would have looked better if you'd just made it actually blonde instead of white

but the black is good too i guess

hmmm ok, then to make one I do the changes I require, then create fable mod package?

and this should work where I can open it up and then play it with the action yes?

so does this put the mod into the game perminatly? or do I always have to run it through fable explorer?

if you loaded the fmp and saved your game you can start fable normally and the mods are saved

so if I load a mod and don't save it will not save the mod? but if I load a game with the mod it saves it?

so how come they recomend making back up files for fable? for all the data when using fable explorer?

Obviously, if you don't save the changes, no changes are made.
You should make backups because if your changes cause Fable to cry and you aren't able to pick out the problem, you'll either have to pull original files off of the retail discs and lose all changes made or reinstall and still lose all changes made, and both of those options suck.

By keeping backups of your last known-to-be-stable file set, you don't lose all changes made, just the changes that cause Fable to cry.

Definitions:
"CRY" - This means causing Fable to act in a manner that is not expected or desired.

iLaugh

I never was so good so early on as to get blonde hair.
For me, much-goodness always came late enough in the game that it was already grey or white.
