hey i exported a model with wow model vewer and used milkchape to export it to a .x file but i get this error message when i try to open it itn fable explorer
i read on the forum that i insert a helper and was wundering how to do it with milkshape or blender if its possible

ok thanks just aswell i got a coppy of 3ds max which im still having problems with i import my weapon and then put in a simular one and remove that but keep the helpers and move them to the apropriet places but i still cant get it to work this time it comes up with a diferant error index.php?t=getfile&id=5430&private=0

panda exporter?? no dont think so but i downloaded .x exporters for 3ds max

i tryd getting panda to work but it just comes up with index.php?t=getfile&id=5431&private=0

lol hmm i dono i had some other 1 that would work but it wouldnt let me load the .x file in FE

If it was Pandasoft and it didn't work when throwing it in FE then I know the problem, and a solution.

If it comes out looking like this (in notepad) just open it in a rich text editor (like wordpad) and save. Oddly enough it comes out okay after that.

no it wasnt a pandasoft one to my knowlage the only panda soft exporta i got to load kept cuming up with filed to export the one ive got is some japanese one i think that was on the useful downloads topic

Heh, I don't think it looked like that when Satan made it.
Here you can find Pandasoft plugins for 3DS in a page that is easily readable. If the 2008 plugin doesn't work try the one for 9. I found that they both work for me.

thanks mate and that was the site i got the pandasoft ones from that didnt work
i worked out the problem it wasnt the exporter i just didnt link the mesh properly but now im haven problems with the texture it wont show up when i inport it into FE can you tell me how to save the texture from 3ds max
