I am making a weapon called corn fling that will shoot corn on the cob, and if you shoot and miss you can pick up the corn and eat it.

I am having trouble because it doesn't always do damage.

If anybody has successfully made bows or crossbows that shoot objects you can pick up, and still have it do damage, please tell me.

Could somebody look at this and tell me if they see a problem?

Take a look at these: SHOT_CORN, OBJECT_CORN_ARROW, OBJECT_CORN_PUMPCROSSBOW

and the entries associated with them

Right now it works, just not particularly well

Someone made a throwing dagger I like to use, and you can pick those up. You could look at that.
