What do you get when you combine Fable: 41, Fable: New Consumables, and a whole lot of weapons? You get exactly what Fable: Bare should have been in the first place. I will post random screenshots as I get more done, but you're gonna have to wait for the mod to be finished for the full experience.

New ObjectsTons of new food
Some new forms of alcohol
Some new drinks
A lot of new weapons
Some first aid stuff
New PlotLong ago, in the land of Albion, there was a man known as The Craftsman. He made all sorts of things, especially weapons. The legend goes that he had visions, and he liked to make the things he saw in those visions. Nobody knows whether this is true, but then again, not much is known about him anyways. He made an incredible set of weapons, and some clothing. He also made strange foods, and even stranger potions, but after some time, he said he was leaving Albion. He said that he was going to a land known as Tamriel, and that he would never be back. Nobody knows where this "Tamriel" is, but many sailors have gone searching for this place, and never come back. He made a special chest, known as the Craft Box, that needed special keys called Craft Keys, and hid the chest and keys all over Albion. The only thing left of them, is a single key that Archon had found, and a clue that was with the key. It is currently unknown what the clue means, and heros have been trying to find the treasure for centuries. Many have gone insane down the path of The Craftsman's treasure. Will you choose to take up this quest for treasure? Or will you ignore it, and leave behind the ultimate stash?

thanks, actually, I could use help tng editing. Tell me if you are interested. (this goes for anybody with decent (not beginner, because I'm doing serious stuff) tng editing skills. I'll be completely re-doing tng files. In other words, scrap the original and start fresh for the most part in many of the tng files)

thanks, I would say that I'm about 1% finished, because I haven't had too much time to work on it, but it's going up fast, as I've done about 3 weapons today alone

wow, seems like it's going to be a giant conversion.
I think you should post a "to do" list and a "done" list it would also help for your own organization as well as keeping this thread nice and clean from spam asking how far you are into the mod.
Just an idea

Sorry, I've been away, Morerunes. But if you don't mind, I would like to join your team. I will do whatever I can, entries, textures... anything really besides modeling.

If you think that keeps a mod thread clean of that sort of spam you're very wrong.
There is nothing in the Void.
There is no point to it's being.
I wish there was a reason.
There is nothing in the Void,
But what we put there.

well, the idea of changing the maps I was already planning on doing, but I am limited to where npcs want to go
do you mean Fable: The Legend of the Craftsman's Treasure could be the title of the mod?
and all of the old heros are still there, because it still has the old plotline and stuff, just with some more plot
but thanks for the enthusiasm ^_^

well, honestly there isn't much you could do
I would gladly let you help, but the only thing I can think of is some new objects
do you know how to make new objects? (the answer can wait if you need to go)

i have a new/new idea, maybe you can let the boy already begin the game when its 18, and then he made a wooden sword, like the one in the first post, and then the oakvale rage happens, and you can fight to them, of course you lose, and maze takes you to the guild. there you get a 5 year long training and then you can just play the game.
I dont know if this is possible but i think its a great idea ..

That's possible. Let's rework this idea some, for continuity.
I wouldn't use the age of 18, as I would imagine that an 18 years young boy aspiring to be a warrior wouldn't settle for a toy sword. The Hero fighting thing would have to be in a cutscene, I'd advise that the wooden sword be removed from the Hero at the end of this cutscene, as the Hero will get another weapon at the Guild.
At the Guild, rather than the Hero get a stick, he gets a training sword, pretty much a blunt longsword made of wood (can be done with a retexture). Continue from there.
I actually like the idea of changing the beginning. The sequence is very familiar to any modder, so the more different it is, the better the first impressions of the mod. As for this particular idea, I wouldn't say that I don't like it, just that it lacks too much. Don't get me wrong, any change is good, but that alone isn't enough to warrant the effort involved. Expanded = good.

Ye ok, but i dont see a little boy with a toy sword fighting a bandit, and, if your city is full of bandits, and they are running to you, and you look beside you and there is a wooden stock, im shure you pick it up .. right ? so maybe he finds that sword on the ground by a child that died, idk.
