Some Questions I've Had [message #42995] |

Questions:
1.I've seen the unused goblin mesh, but forgot where. I've
manually searched over 1-Hour yesterday, without any luck. Could
someone tell me the ID please, or if its in graphics.big etc...
2.How do you take out the main story? A friend told me you have
to switch something to NULL, and that it can also be done in
CBox...how?
He said it's in the mao data, does this mean when i can change
what part/timeinthegame i want an object to appear?
3.I was looking forward to releasing "The Ghost Sword", but then
i viewed a long-past post, and saw someone already did. For
future refrence, i tried. I switched the model ID to that of the
Ghost Sword for a longsword, do i also have to set up the
textures all well for it to work comepletely?
4.Another CBox question. I've set a few teleporters, how do i
activate them to respond to the hero like the other pedastals?
When the action button has "TAB" on it, i press tab. Then i
teleports me to whatever area the teleporter was in, in a "non-
reachable place".
By the way, about the "removing the main story" question, if i set whatever it is to NULL to make it "inactive" would it happen like this...?
1.I change the Wasp Queen Quest to NULL
2.Now since (i'm assuming) i cannot accept the quest, i cannot further the story?

| You can manually change everything in the .qst files to FALSE and remove anything in game that can trigger a quest to start (by flipping on of those FALSEs to TRUE). | You can still accept the quest, thing is by moving everything under that quest section to NULL, you make it always there rather than it needing for the quest to be activated for it to appear.

Well i wanted to know how i could get it into to game. I
switched the model ID of the Ghost Sword to that of the Master
Longsword, but when i went to look at it in my inventory, the
game crashed. What steps do i need to take to get it NOT to
crash?

I mean, went to "Things" and clicked "New Teleporter". The
only "thing" it had under the data was, i think, guild
teleporter pedastal. So, i placed one down in Lookout point.
Instead of me getting near it and i brings up a menu of all of
the places with teleporters i been, asking me where i want to
go, the circle were your action commands come up (If you wanted
to talk to a character, it would say TAB/End) has TAB.(run-on)
I push TAB, and it has the loading screen for Lookouy Point.
When i have active control over my Hero, he's not even on the
map, and he cannot move. I could make all parts of the area
walkable, but he's not in the map so...
NOTE:Sorry to respong so late. Got a little "distracted".

Well whenever i remember to reply, the site won't come up. It's
been happening a lot lately.
I fixed the Ghost Sword problem. I linked it up to the model, texture, i added new texts, and i linked some other things (can't remember what though). So now it works pretty good.
I'm might mess around with stuff with teleporters, but last time i did stuff like that with CBox, i couldn't enter BowerStone.
Btw, my final question (Maybe). Some people are saying if you
don't download or have backups, you can get the data back
from "your" disk. I saw you posted once to get it back from a
retail disk.
My first disk has the options Play/Install, Uninstall, Website,
and Exit. No data. When i put another disk in, it says, "do you
want to play Fable?". Nothing, again, about data. Where do i get
this from?

| Jeezuz. Open My Computer, find the drive that has the disc in it, right-click, Open. That simple.

I don't think this could be considered "bumping" since it's my
post, and it was around these past two-weeks.
Okay, another annoying question.
GameFAQ's was always my loyal game FAQ site, for anything.
Hidden quests/bosses/items, a walkthrough, even cheats and codes too!. I thought, before i would ask this question, that i'd search the Gamespot inspired site. I was looking for an entry into the Tavern Cellar of the Tavern in BowerStone WITHOUT spawning a teleport pedestal, or something to use to teleport there.
It wasn't listed on any, that i looked at, of the walkthroughs'
Bronze Quest Guides.
What needs to be done? Does i just kill theguy, or do something
to own the tavern?

Really? I found this...Excerpt, Fable: The Lost Chapters - Completist's Guide by Ron Hiler | For instance, there's the locked cellar door around the back of the pub. The door is actually on a timer, and opens for only a few seconds right around 10:00 P.M. The easiest way to hit the correct time is to stand in front of the cellar door, teleport back to the guild (so that you have a recall point at the door), then run to Lookout Point and watch the statue. As the statue rotates around toward Bowerstone, click on it until you get the message that it is pointed at the city. As soon as you see this, activate your teleport again and select the recall option. You will be standing right in front of the cellar door. Open it up.
Tavern Cellar

Inside you will find a Leather Chest piece. Once you've gotten inside the cellar, the door will remain open for you for a while, though there's not really much reason to go back inside.
