Same problem for the second version.

I think it's because i didn't delete the levels/levels/finalalbion.
Instead i tried again, got the Final Albion the correct way, then
i had no more chests.

your folder should look like this:

  • Fable - The Lost Chapters
    • Data
      • Levels
        • FinalAlbion
          • tng's and lev files
        • FinalAlbion_.wad (not FinalAlbion.wad, notice that I renamed it) and other files (including creature hub files)

A quick way would be to load another mod, and try again. When that happens to me, i load maybe something that's already there and then i try again and it works.

That's my method.

Oh dear, it's more than irritating, it's actually very bad. With time, these sorts of things happen. Unfortunately, it doesn't always happen to crappy mods, it happens to good ones as well.

I'll bring this up with the site/forum admins and see if I can't come up with something.

Ugh...

Read the post above you. It's already been brought up and he has said he would tell the admins. Was that really needed?

It might also be an idea to upload them again in the first post, unfortunately I don't have the mods anymore. If anyone does have them, be so kind to send me a pm.

Upload it elsewhere, like 2shared, MegaUpload, Rapidshare, etc. and so on, then PM OldBoy the link.

PM attachments can only go up to 1000000 bytes in size, I'm pretty sure that this mod is a bit bigger than that.

I'll bring it up with them next time they're around in IRC (or if they should come by this thread before then, they can provide an answer then, mood-permitting).

Good news. I uploaded the Trader version to rapidshare. Heres the link I PM'd this to OldBoy too so he could always try uploading it to the post again, or he could always make it a torrent!

You could have just sent it to me if you were going to post it publicly. Neutral
I'll be adding it back to the first post in a second.

Try it on a clean set of files.

That happens on modded gamefiles sometimes.

A zip file? Like a compressed archive? If only there was a way to unzip/decompress it... oh wait.
How to move files and folders to and from a compressed folder

You move files and folders to or from compressed folders exactly as you move them to or from uncompressed folders. For example, you can drag files or folders to the compressed folder. When you move a file or a folder to a compressed folder, that file is automatically compressed. A file that is moved from a compressed folder is automatically uncompressed.
Every Windows OS since XP has built-in ZIP handling capability. But if you'd like something fancier, you can use WinZIP, 7ZIP, WinRAR, or a dozen other software packages that can all unzip an archive.

This is an outdated version. Grab the latest version. Don't worry, it's not zipped.

And you shouldn't double post (yes I deleted the second one).
This thread shouldn't have been locked ages ago, it's being locked now because members are posting useless stuff in it.
We shouldn't have to lock topics at all actually, but unfortunately it's necessary sometimes.
