1.Is it possible to change models with something such as NotePad? Soemone has told me "yes" but has not explained it.

2.Someone has also told me that it is possible to import 3D models, such a Fable weapons/armor, into Goolge Sketchpad (SketchUp).Is this true? If so, i tried to import a model, but was unable to find it. It wasn't "available" to be imported.

I'm sorry if to some of you in 2 Months i should know all of this.

Thanks in advance.

1. Yes, if the model format is text based. DirectX has a text based mode. Wavefront OBJ (CBox can import this but it's WIP) is text based completely.

2. If you can import DirectX To SUp then yes, if not, then no. As far as CBox goes, the idea was that you'd be able to import models from SUp to CBox using the Wavefront fileformat.

Busy!

Okay, i have a new model for a building. I just finished it, but
i haven't done anything but make it. I made it in SUp, and i
don't know which version i have, but everyone says you can make
models in NotePad of even SUp, if you have a DirectX9...plug-in?

Would i just copy the directX9 thing off of the disc and put it
somewhere, or does it have to be made specifically for a program?

Thanks.
