Hey all. It's been nearly a year since I first posted on this forum and this is my second post
I guess this is the best place to put this - didn't know if it really fitted under the graphics editting section
Anyway - I've recently re-started modding fable and playing around with level editting and adding custom "architecture" (do steps count ).
Also recently started using a bit of software called pepakura for converting 3d models into papercraft, and being the creative individual I am (open for dispute), I decided to try making some fable papercraft.
So here are a couple of models I've made. I'll post more if people want me to.
JOB mask
(fits roughly...Removable too - nose is a bit fiddly but not that bad)
Chocolate Box
Openable Chest
(Yet to try making this one - is reasonably complicated but should be reasonably straightforward to make. It should open too...)
I don't have any instructions cos they should all be pretty simple to make. All you need really is a printer, a craft knife or something similar, something to cut on to (thick card will do) and glue.
I need ideas + sugestions for more models. Simple models would be good Character requests will probably be politely ignored just cos:
1)They take ages to make to any high quality
2)No one would ever finish making one
3)The save function is locked until you bt the license for pepakura (so you can make and copy your designs as bmps but then you can't re-open and edit them if that makes sense)
Buildings maybe?
Feel free to post pictures of completed models you've made here. Or any designs you do.

Thanks
2 more for yer:
Apple Pie:
Apple:
I tried the sword of aeons - i may give it another go but I think I'll have to simplify the model first Skorms bow might be possible - I'll give it a go when I have time...
I might upload one of the guild map later. Anyone feel like helping me make a complete paper guild...
And for anyone who can't use an image editor
(had to stretch it a little so it appeared more like the quest cards in game)
keep the sugestions coming

haha
I actually beat you to it but didn't post it up
Guild Map Table
It's a bit trickierto do I think cos of the small pieces. I haven't tried it yet but I will at somepoint.
If anyone completes a model please post it here so everyone can see how it turns out

Thanks both
Silver Key
This model is harder than it looks - it's a good idea to have something like a cocktail stick to press down inside flaps.
@ waspp
Yeah I think it'll probably be glued something like that - You may have to make do with a smaller building first - the KHG tavern looks pretty difficult atm. I may Edit it round a bit and see what I can do though.
But first a sword.

@Morerunes
Cheers
Ok - first proper weapon (I ain't counting the stick )
Steel Katana
This looks like it will be difficult - don't waste yer printer ink unless you think you can do it
The flaps are a bit strange in places so be prepared to trim them etc. There's one tiny piece which fits on the gold/bronze part which goes over the blade somewhere...
Good luck

don't worry
right - here:
I'm doing this just before I dash out so I think this is right. The small pieces fit on the body somewhere.
won't be around for a day or 2 so have fun

ohh - sorry mate - was in a rush - yeah you are right - that piece does go on the head
The tiny green piece I origionaly intended as a flap to place on the end of the body to stick the head to or something along those lines - use it if yer wish but I dunno how well it will work.
Try to get hold of some glue it is much easier. If possible see if you can get some higher weight paper - 160 gsm is what I use I think - I don't think it's too expensive and it should go in yer printer ok...
I'll try and get one more model up before I go away for a week...
