That is correct, the explosion range and damage are separate from the projectile damage, so explosion damage is dealt to anyone within blast range while the projectile does its own damage to whatever it hits.

Side note: I'm very impressed with you tonargarth, displaying competence like I've not seen in a while and contributing to the place. I hope you stick around for a while.
