During installation of Fable on the first CD it keeps giving me the same error message:
"Error1305.Error reading from file C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapter\data\lang\English\text.big. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."
Brand new computer with Vista Premium 64bit but it doesn't seem to be a compatibility issue.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? The file does exist btw, it is sitting in the folder. Whether it is faulty or not I don't know.

This isn't a support forum.

You can try these guys and read this. If you'd like to see previous appearances of this error on the forum, here and here you go.

More than likely, damaged discs. That's pretty much what that error means. See if you can take it back to a retailer for a replacement/refund/exchange or try cleaning it yourself if the retailer isn't an option (like if your warranty's up).
