This mod replaces the Hero's old backwards roll with the backflip animation I found in FE ( whether it's used or not, I'm not sure but it's pretty fucking awesome,no? ). It'll do no damage unarmed but with a sword and a neat distance, it'll do some damage, depending on the sword you're wielding. ( I used SoA and got 400+ )
Backup anything important first!!!

Okay, update guys! I've also replaced the Heavy Weapons' Back-roll with Whisper's jump-back-long animation and uh, the basic forward roll with a somersault ( which has the same principal as the backflip, but sorry, no screenies for the somersault.

Umm..please move my message somewhere else 'cause I know I've done the category choosing all wrong, it's supposed to be in Definitions, ain't it?

Thx John! You're very welcome.

Seriously we're used to newbies saying "omg fable explorer doesn't work" or "can you make this sword kthxbai". It's a nice change to have someone making a real mod.

And this is quite a good one Smile

Yeah, think because I always use the miracle of the "Search" button, unlike some people. BTW, I'm thinking of posting more mods ( I love messing around with the animations and all )and uh...can you guys like, PM me suggestions of what I should do next 'cause I'm quite undone with my mind here, thinking of buying a new PC game ( seriously, Spiderman Web Of Shadows was good but just too short, 3-4 days without a trainer was all it took me... ).

Hey, thanks!
I think I'm gonna' stick with "messing around with the animations" part 'cause eh, my re-textures are quite boring and...just too normal.

Im posting this reply because I downloaded your mod and it runs fine but i think when it comes to quality of a mod it fails to pass the buck.I think it has alot of potential though.I see it this way ok.If im going to replace my dodge roll with a back flip it better be as good as my dodge roll.I can roll all the way down the steps inside the guild just at the entrance,so I should be able to back flip all the way back up to the top of the steps.I cant, instead I just back flip in place. Also,in bowerstone Quay when I do a back flip he stops in mid air for a second and I just hover like peter pan before gracefully landing again.Maybe something could be done to fix this and maybe you could increase the distance. One thing I noticed that was cool is the fact that sometimes when I do a back flip it will do damage to my enemies.Like I said I think this mod has alot of potential,it just needs more work before you can truely call it a finished mod.

Floating like Peter Pan, eh? Laughing
You said something about backflipping in place? Now that's, pretty weird. I could backflip upstairs ( in the game, I mean. No one wants to be my spotter in real life. If only there's an unused mattress for me to practice on...).
Well, okay... I'll find out a way to fix that. Maybe developers get the best thing in everything they create. Thanks for notifying me. Smile

Better. Make an FMP of the original movements in Chocolate Box, and load the backflip. Once you've had enough, load the fmp you made.

But why isn't your FE working? Can we help?

What error do you get with ChocolateBox? If it's a prerequisite problem, try the DirectX Runtimes (you can delete it after installation). And of course the other prerequisites mentioned in the first post. As for FE, what do you have going on with that?
