fable modding problems, please help. [message #48774]

hi i'm new to modding and i wanted to recolour some aromur, when i change the plate mail to my coloured and try to run fable it crashes, anyone know why? and i made a few tattoos and my leg ones never work any idea's? thanks.

What texture format do you use?
Did you use dxt1 to import?
Change the alpha to 0?

what is dxt1? and how do you change the alpha? like i said im new.

Dxt1 is an import setting on the screen when you import a texture - make sure it's set to dxt1.

On the texture entry in Fable Explorer (FE) make sure alpha is set to 0. When you import a new texture FE sets it to 1 automatically, so yyou have to change it manually.

Good. As for the leg; try replacing an existing tattoo, instead of using the custom tattoo folder.
