Is there any way to mod your character's body mesh so that it prevents growth, while still retaining the stat bonuses?
While Fable is meant to be cartoony, I found Thunder to be a bit ridiculous and campy.
I for one don't really like the look of my character as a lumbering brute. I realize that higher strength means more muscles, but I still want my character the way I want to view him. And since I'm rather short, it would only make sense that my character wouldn't change size. Besides, the visual effect of my slim character wailing on Thunder is too tempting to pass up.
Unfortunately, I only have a cursory knowledge of tweaking, and by cursory I mean I scream like a girly man every time someone mentions .big files. If there is any way to do this, it would be very much appreciated.

You will need Fable Explorer at the very least to do what you want. Get it and alot of good info(especially about MAKING BACK-UPS) here:
http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=38721& amp;#msg_38721
Once you have that, read this(MUSCLE applies to you):
Toggle SpoilerThis is how you manually edit the hero's look caused by aging, alignment, growth:
(I did not originate this info, just compiled it, and hopefully made it easy to follow for new modders.)
{To Open CDefs; once you open the window on the right, single click "CREATURE/OBJECT" or
click the + sign beside it and click CDefs right under "CREATURE/OBJECT", I find the
second way much faster. Only 'Click Actions, Save Mods and Run Fable.' after all
changes are made}
Open up FE,
Under CREATURES go to 1470 - CREATURE_HERO.
Open the CDefs,
Scroll down until you see CHeroMorphDef,
Open CHeroMorphDef by clicking the first 'Links to (GameBINEntryID)',
Click CHeroMorphDef not the + sign beside it,
In DE9B0516, click [Del] in any box that has something you do not want,
Delete values with "OLD" or "BUMP" to stop the effect of aging,
Delete values with "WILL" to remove the blue will marks on hero's skin,
Delete values with "BLOND" to keep hair black(delete all "OLD" hair also),
Delete values with "MUSCLE" to stay small,
-In 4577F2CB you must delete hero_strong and hero_tall also,
Delete anything with "EVIL" and "ANTITAN" to remove EVIL alignment effects,
-Then in 718A793D you can delete Flies, Rays, and Eyes if you want,
-To remove horns:
Go to OBJECT,3519-OBJECT_HERO_HORNS,
Open CAppearanceModifierDef, by clicking Links to (GameBINEntryID),
Click plus sign beside CAppearanceModifierDef,
Click 67019D5C-Appearance Clothing Model,
Click 'Del' in all 3 of those boxes.
Click Apply Changes.
Click Actions, Save Mods and Run Fable.
-To remove baldness: (Works with any hairstyle)
Open OBJECT_HERO_HAIR_PONYTAIL_01(Or the style you like),
Open CAppearanceModifierDef, by clicking the first Links to (GameBINEntryID),
Click plus sign beside CAppearanceModifierDef,
Click 67019D5C-Appearance Clothing Model,
Change Rank to Disappear in first box to 1.1,
Click 'Del' in the last 2 boxes,
Click Apply Changes.
Click Actions, Save Mods and Run Fable.
-To remove the evil expression:
Still under 1470 - CREATURE_HERO,go to CCreatureDef,
Click the first "Links to (GameBINEntryID),
Click the + sign beside CCreatureDef,
Click F0F1CA81 - EExpressionType,
Click [Del] in the third box, EExpressionType [8] ANIM_HERO_FACIAL_EVIL,
Click Apply Changes.
Click Actions, Save Mods and Run Fable.
Delete the skin arrays with "TAN" in them, to remove GOOD alignment effects,
-Also in CHeroMorph, 1A37C090, Remove Good alignment changes by clicking
[Del] in the boxes for HALO and BUTTERFLIES.
Click Apply Changes,
Click Actions, Save Mods and Run Fable.
Good luck.

| You're going to have to screenshot that error. It's the first time I'd ever heard of it.
If you get it working though...jwc2200 wrote on Tue, 26 May 2009 23:32 | -To remove baldness: (Works with any hairstyle)

| I think there's also texture morphing for balding found in the CHeroMorphDef as well.jwc2200 wrote on Tue, 26 May 2009 23:32 | Delete values with "MUSCLE" to stay small,
-In 4577F2CB you must delete hero_strong and hero_tall also,
| The muscle references, if they were done right in unmodified Fable, are just textures thrown on top of the Hero. And deleting only those bones will just keep him from getting tall and bulky, this I believe throws off the morphing significantly.Bone infosThe Hero, regardless of whether he's fat, berserk, tall, strong or weak, uses the same mesh. This same mesh uses bone morphing to modify the Hero's stature. Bone morphing is configured in the CHeroMorphDef as well. Simply deleting the bone listings in the array in the same manner jwc2200 instructed deleting other array items will clear up bone morphing altogether.
Alternatively, you can empty all of the bone (*.bncfg) files used by the Hero or change all of the bone scaling numbers to 1.0. This way, bone morphing still occurs, but isn't noticeable as it doesn't make any differences.
Either of these will make the Hero such that he is scaled and proportioned exactly as he is modeled.

Yes, I do have it working now, I did a full cleanup of my computer, allowed administrative privalages, the works.
And thank you for helping me. Thank you VERY much. This also helped me a bit with my modding ability, I'm learning new stuff everyday. Once again, thank you, and I'm feeling giddy right now.
