I thought it would be funny to have Jack of Blades´Powers.
This mod will affect the following spells of your game:
- Fireball.
- Divine Wrath.
- Enflame.
- Force Push.
- Ghost Sword.
- Physical Shield.

The mod may take a while to load. Please be patient.
I strongly recommend to make a backup of your game.bin before trying this mod. IF you want to get rid of it, simply replace the game.bin. Have fun.

EDIT: Fixing bugs. Work in progress.

i think mike didn't save the fmp right. i think he has draged just the spells but not the CSpecialEffectsDef of the spells into the create fmp window.

works ok but 3 bugs.
1. when you cast a fireball your hand burns after the fireball
2. when you cast divine fury you are burning after the cast
3. when you activate and de-activate physical shield often, your jack of blades beams become bigger and bigger until you can't see anything.

Because of the ''Magic Armor'' bug, I cannot see anything when I'm
playing...:S

Can someone send me an original game.bin or
write a way to desactivate them( Or just the Divine Fury and the Body Shield)

I know this and I'm stupid but...

I don't have the CD...
The CDs are to a friend but I dont see it anymore...

I just need to stop the armor effect and the ''Divine Wrath'' effect.

If it is a way to stop them with Fable Explorer or
whit editing TNG files, can someone say it to me ?

If not, I'll just try to buy another Fable TLC...

Find out exactly what this mod edits, and if possible, how. Then, undo it. If you need to know what the defaults are for something, pinpoint what the something is, then you can ask the forum. If someone is feeling sympathetic, they'll tell you.

Afterward, keep backups!!

And a helpful tip: You can rename fmp files to a big file, then open it with FE (File|Open), allowing you to see what entries it edits. Open these entries in the game.bin and try to find out what would cause the effects, removing them should be simple enough, but again, if not, just ask. Smile

You cannot upload original gamefiles.

Grab one off your game disc.

it's buggy a little... :S you are always in flame after using divine power or what's it called... also after fireball fire doesn't extinguish Very Happy

You did a mesh swap. The proper way to handle this is to add the Hero model's helpers to Jack's model.
Our man mike didn't do a mesh swap, he used crazybunny's JoB suit mod.

Yep, Load the FMP in Fable Explorer, then click Save Mods and Run Fable.

I warn thee: He said it has bugs. He hasn't been back in ages, hence he won't be back to help you fix it if you have problems. Make a backup of your Game.bin, found in your program files before installing.

Is this ever gonna get sorted out? Or can someone do this Mod again by doing it properly? Even better we could have the script that Jack has with the Sword Of Aeons! What I really think is the Powers we first saw from Jack are actually from his Sword! But I played the game as a Bandit & there was some cutscene bugs where he'd attack Scarlet & yet his Master Katana/Cleaver would fire out those Powers! So yeah! Lets say Jacks Powers! Anyway! Back to the Topic! Could someone help me on how to do it myself or could someone do a mod to do with this? Or is there a Mod where you can Cast your Powers with your Sword like the Fix where you can do Expressions with weapons! Though Cossack Dance with a Sword on that mod looks like you've just stabbed yourself! XD! I hope someone fixes or comes up with an Answer!

Hey guys, I'm still a newbie and haven't started making my own mods yet, only adding, but with a few minutes of searching I found out how to delete the JOB mod on physical shield with that big effect that doesn't go away. Surprised . Not sure if this info matters anymore cause its old but anyways:


1. Open FE
2. scroll down to SPECIAL_ABILITIES_PHYSICAL_SHIELD_DEF_INSTANCE
3. Double click
7356 - SPECIAL_ABILITIES_PHYSICAL_SHIELD_DEF_INSTANCE
4. On the new tab expand SPECIAL_ABILITIES_PHYSICAL_SHIELD_DEF by clicking the -
5. Click CDefs
6. Now on the new portion opened on the right under CSpecialEffectsDef, click the blue lettered "Links to (GameBINEntryID):"
7. Double Click CSpecialEffectsDef
8. Delete all entries with JOB (spell name)

For other JOB POWER 1 or JOB POWER 2 modded spells, Just scroll down to that spell and it should be the same method/path to removing mod.

The physical shield mod ADDS that special effect, I don't think you'll end up with good results if you try to delete the mods that CHANGE the whole spell rather then ADD. Then again, I haven't tested the other modded spells, plus I barely knew what I was doing but it worked for me! Very Happy If this worked for any spell you tried, please post your results Very Happy!
