Okay so I followed morerunes guide to making a weapon.
I replaced iron longsword. Everything works perfectly except the texture in game. There are fragments missing of the texture on the weapon and the texture looks sort of out of place. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Anyway, in blender and in the preview of FE it shows the tex perfectly. In game, its messed.

Any help would be amazing Smile

Is it a new model and texture? If you're applying to it the graphics.big entry then you need to go to where it says LOD0 and go to LOD1/2/3 and apply anything you did to the first LOD to those ones.

You can't just hit Apply Changes either, you have to put in the new texture, set "Max Textures" or something like that to "1", apply, and then Apply Changes.

No, I too have hit this problem, and I believe there may be a way to fix it

I think the texture for some reason gets flipped horizontally and then rotated 180 degrees. I don't know why. Try doing that then exporting, and maybe it will correct it.

Yay! I hadn't actually tried that out yet, I'm glad it works. Actually, I wasn't even positive that was the right sequence of changes to the uv map, but I'm glad it works.

Haha yup! It fixes it, but only in game. It looks messed up in blender and in FE. But its not something that bothers me so its all good.
I plan on making this weapon as my first fmp, Hopefully this issue will not cause problems to other people if they use this weap. though... We'll see.
