How to change eye color and eye other effects [message #43947]

I know i know it's probably been asked a million times. But i've been searching for the past hour with no luck on how to mod eyes.

So could someone explain how to mod eye color and effects.

I heard you can use GIMP or photoshop, if thats the case where would i find the file?

Also how do i open .big files?

*go into the ''tools'' part of the forum look for fable explorer
*Download it and open it with winzip
*run the exe and go to textures .big (in the program)
*Scroll down untill you find the eyes
*Export the texture and edit it
*Import the new texture and save mods and run fable (or if you wanna publish it go to file create fable mod package and drag all you'r edited part's into there)

I'm not sure about the .big file but as far I know you need to right click on the big file you want in FE and click merge big and take your .big you want

Im running into a problem with this. i open FE and go to textures.big and find the eyes ,export the texture and change the color. when i do this my game crashes. i just want to make my chars eyes white, thats it.

If the 'alpha' is set to zero to begin with, make sure you change it back to zero before you 'apply changes'. That is a common error when retexturing.
