It Worked With me Before..

Now it says Modding environment not setup properly and told me to click yes to fix it.. then says " cannot create file when that file already exists" then " modding environment is not OK will now close "...
btw im usin vista

yea it was me, i had forgotten to delete the old file's, i did that tho and got it workin'.

The link you gave here is now invalid, I'm having the same problem as that guy, can you fill me in on what files i need to delete? These problem/errors happened after I did a fresh install of fable.


Edit: Never mind I got it figured out, thanks anyhow, might want to fix that link though.

Right, so you uninstalled Fable and then installed it again, yes? CBox renames the FinalAlbion.wad once it's unpacked - the name that CBox renames the file is already taken by the old renamed FinalAlbion.wad that was there last time around. So, delete it.

You bumped a very outdated thread. You can't expect 100% accuracy from a thread last year.
