How odd, will using shadownet fe affect it, or did you do it with cbox, cuz I loaded it with both......

On the upside, the particle sword are working.

May I suggest trying to make a new spell next?

This one should work with either of the tools. I'm honestly stumped on this one.

I don't think anyone's ever attempted that. Keshire edited a spell once, turned either summon or ghost sword into the raise dead spell, can't remember the details on that but it was pretty cool. Not sure if I can use the same specialized spell entries to make a new spell though. In any case, it's not on my list of things to do in the near future.

This is starting to sound like it belongs in independent discussion and not in my thread. I'll split these last couple of posts in a minute.

I need clarification - what do you mean by "multi effects"? Like multiple effects on a weapon at one time? Multiple spells at one time? Multiple what?

Multiple effects one 1 weapon at the same time.

Not with FE, the particle swords each have two effects that are spawned directly from the mesh. You can edit the mesh in notepad though, just copy the AUG_01 frame and rename it to HDMY_CREATEPARTICLE-effectname.

Then just import it again, reassign the textures, and add the MeshAutomaticEntityCreator to the CTCs. This can be copied from the particle swords.

Hey, I tried to do it but fe spits me an HResult error and wont import it.

This is what I added to the mesh:

You must have put it in the wrong place or you're trying to load it over the wrong type of mesh.
Remember, animated mesh over animated mesh, static mesh over static mesh.

Now, as for where to put it, you can't just slap it on at the end of the file. Find another frame, like the HDMY_AUG_01 that you copied, and paste it right after that.

I put it under HMDY_AUGMENT_01.

And I loaded that modified longsword mesh over the original longsword mesh.

Find the submesh labeled "sword" and change it to "hilt" or "blade" or something else.

No, I thought it was dumb and didn't make sense that lionhead would do that, not that your discovery was dumb or didn't make sense. Razz

I tried all that, and it looked great in fe, problem is is that it's completely white in game and my effect ain't working except when I hit someone a little speckle of green appears on the ground for a second, then still nothing.
