That looks like an original problem. What did you do to cause it?

Uh-huh... well tell your brother to get a clean game.bin off the retail discs (don't overwrite your borked game.bin), manually open it in FE, open up CREATURE_HERO and find out what ID it has for CAppearanceDef. Close the original game.bin, open the borked game.bin, open the borked CREATURE_HERO entry, type in that number for CAppearanceDef. Done.

That would depend on how it was put there in the first place. Of course your description of the problem doesn't help any...

Let's see if this fits the bill:
You have the JoB mesh as a base, but you have the Hero's clothes, hair, horns (if evil), things aren't lined up right, and if the Hero isn't wearing a shirt, weapons are sheathed near the Hero's crotch. Yes?

It was a mesh swap. Change it back to the Hero mesh (listed in the graphics.big as MESH_HERO) and you're set.

If you could repeat that in some understandable form of English, I would appreciate it.

The screenshot shown in the first post shows a faceless Hero. That tells me that the Hero mesh isn't there. The screenshot also shows a bunch of the Hero's clothes, hair, and a JoB mesh. This tells me that there was a mesh swap. To fix this, change the assigned mesh ID back to that of the Hero's.

My instructions aren't difficult, they are very simple, easy to do, and written in plain English. If I have to say it again, I might just cry. Or beat the crap out of someone.

Look man, if that's the case then restore from backups or grab the originals off the retail discs. The only real way anyone would be able to find out exactly what "your brother" did is to sit down at your computer and there is no way I'm doing remote assistance for you.

Uh-huh. Well let me grab some crayons and a paper, I'll draw this one out for you.

jwc2200 has written detailed guides on how to make backups, how to use backups, and what to do if you need backups but didn't make any. You should really try searching next time else you might end up banned a second time for twice as long for breaking the same site rule as last time.
