CBox Error wpn't work [message #58218]

I am stumped. Got this right when I tried to open it after downloading.

Got Vista 32bit. idk if that helps.

Nope. That particular error means that he doesn't have all the prerequisites. But that Vista bit is an important read too, so check it out also.

I downloaded Morerunes application suite, so it should have the requirements. And as for Vista I am the only administrator on my computer.

OK. I will use the tool in one of the other forum topics that allow me to claim ownership of the files. And I will run things as administrator from now on.

As for me not having the prerequisites, I was under the impression that it downloaded whatever I needed for the applications it gave me. (This might be why my .fmp files don't load right on FE)
If this is the case, where can I see what the prerequisites are.

Be that as it may, you are getting a dependency error (0x8007007E). The DirectX SDK has an HRESULT error lookup tool, which says:

0x8007007E, module not found, is when the app looks for a DLL that it needs to work and doesn't find it, or it finds it and the DLL is just too old. So again, it's a dependency error and you don't have the prerequisites.

You still must take ownership of the files and you still have to run as administrator.

Why oh why do people still feel the need to take things I say and dismiss them as though I don't know what I'm talking about? Haven't I been right enough that people should believe me if I tell them that the solution is to jump up and down for ten seconds? Just trust me on this.

I have the same problem
the thing is ive done the "Take Ownership" thing and it dosent fix it. i was wondering if cbox enter a different file that the game file alone so i can take ownership to that to.

That's because that's the solution for Vista/Windows 7 Access Denied issues. If you get the 0x8007007E error, it's a dependency issue and you need the prerequisites.
