I swear I got this same issue the last two times. Mad
so when I don't use the Freeroam my Fable works perfectly. then when I use Freeroam, without any mods applied, I start it up, even creating a new profile, and then when I click start new game, it loads about a 10th of the loading bar and then crashes. heres some pics.

That's interesting.

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

Look for anything Fable related.

Show me what you find.

There is a Maxis File and a Microsoft games, so I click into Microsoft Games. Then there is a Fable - The Lost Chapters
file, so I click into it. Then there is Nothing accept a data folder, so I click into it. then a Levels Folder, I click into it. Then it says "folder is empty"

I recommend you clear out everything Fable related from the VirtualStore and re-install the game.

Delete the Microsoft Games.

Edit: In the VirtualStore, not the actual directory. That part is a no-brainer but as has been proven, some people don't have brains.

Deleted it, and I'm now trying it out.

Edit: Same thing as before, only the white box that pops up when the game crashes is now clear/transparent.

Edit: There, I reinstalled it, now do I free-roam it again?

I tried free-roaming it and I got a pop up saying: "Microsoft .NET Framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

The Process cannot access the file 'C:\Programs\Microsoft Games\ Fable - The Lost Chapters\data\Levels\FinalAlbion\LostBay_Filler_06.tng' because it is being used by another process."

Details Button
So I click continue and then it just closes. What happend and what should I do now?

That means the file is open in either some process, ChocolateBox, AlbionExplorer, or the game itself. Close everything else that could possibly be accessing the Fable files. If all else fails, restart your computer and use Freeroam again to ensure nothing else could be accessing the files.

EDIT: Oh, and delete the FinalAlbion folder before FreeRoaming again. Don't want to mix up files, do you?

lol alright I'm going to restart, because I checked and there are and never were any programs or processes using My Finalalbion.wad. I'll edit if it works or not.
