I think maybe he meant if there's a way to make villagers follow you through cullis gates like bodyguards do.

Read the site rules, as well as individual thread rules, stickies and announcements, and use search, or you will have smartassy or exasperated ownage rained down upon you by the site's crack team of mods and admins. Also, you can find all you need to get started on modding here.

If you have used Free Roam you can have villagers follow using manual teleporters. I have posted a couple of sets of teleporters, been a while since the 1st one, but here is one that allows you to have villagers follow from Bowerstone to the Chapel of Skorm.

There seems to be an issue with manual teleports or anything follow/travel-related that I don't quite know where it originates from.

If you marry in Bowerstone South at least, haven't tried other places but I hear Heroes Guild is the same, the wife will only follow you as far as an exit out of the town, then stays in town and stops following. The manual teleports do not circumvent this.

Yeah, folks don't like to leave Bowerstone once they're there. Also, you just bumped a thread that's been dead for three and a half years. Check the dates next time, they aren't there to look pretty. Thread locked.
