There is a MOD (*.fmp) for this>

http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=1372& ;amp ;start=0&

I would like to remove Age, Will and scars, all the same mod.

Sorry for my English, I'm using a translator. I am Brazilian.

Here is an fmp of what you want. It will only remove aging, will tattoos, and scars. The hero will still change as he becomes good or evil.

Used the posted mod recently, only as a shortcut so I did not have to do the CHeroDef deletions again. I attempted then to get rid of the blonde hair, but unfortunately it did not let me. I tried to back track with a back up, and it did not work. I went as far as reinstalling the game, but my saved profile still loads with the effects of this mod. Is there any way to remove it?

After uninstall, delete the fable folder/or all files in it from the c:\program files\microsoft games\etc..
If you're on Windows 7, also delete the files from the virtual store.
Then reinstall.

this is not an exit.

Just tried it again, clearing all the files from C/Program Files/Microsoft Games/ and also the virtual memory files (Windows 7). The mod still shows up when I load the game file after the fresh reinstall.

Since you are using a save file that has the mod, have you played any to see if scars start showing up? Try using the Experience Pedestal to gain more age, if you haven't maxed out. Simply walking from one region to the next has made aged looks show for me in the past after removing modded game bin.

Some edits require new saves. The Hero's CCreatureDef is particularly annoying.

With weapons, you can sell the weapons and buy them again and it uses the current definitions. With creatures, you can kill them and they'll respawn (if they're the sort that respawn) with the current definitions. With most of the things that can be purged and reset in the game, you have a remedy for things that get thrown into the save file.

The Hero, on the other hand, cannot be killed and respawned like an NPC. If you have a save that is affected by the no scars mod, and you want scars, you need a new save.

Really? I'd think donating massive amounts to the temple of Avo and then letting the age come back would work.

I divided by zero and survived.
Two of Diamonds, people. This is important.

It would have to reboot the defs that are stored in the save, and it doesn't.

Re-reading the thread, the problem here is a Vista problem. Guy didn't read the stickies, and if he has then he's not doing it right. Whatever the error is, it is user error, not our problem.
