Hello, I'm new to modding fable, I have a basic understanding of switching and swapping animations (swapping sub headers and entry data etc) but I was wondering if there is a way to view the animations so I know which ones are what? Basicly I just want to change one of the flourish attacks to another one but theres so many different attacks listed I don't know which is what.

Cheers

Load a mesh such as the hero's mesh, then find the animation you want to view, and drag the entry onto the preview screen. It doesn't work for me but everyone else swears to it's functionality.

Read the site rules, as well as individual thread rules, stickies and announcements, and use search, or you will have smartassy or exasperated ownage rained down upon you by the site's crack team of mods and admins. Also, you can find all you need to get started on modding here.

I even had a FE version that would extract the anims to .x Razz

Then you might be using the old version of FableExplorer in Satan's installer thread. Use a newer version.

The ones in the FE thread and Shadownet FE thread are capable of exporting animations to DirectX, viewable in the .x viewer in the DirectX SDK. But for the life of me I've not been able to get them imported into 3DS. Oh well.

I think I had to import the root model/animation, and then import *just* the animation on top of it.

I know it's possible. I still have videos.

I'll definitely have a look at this then. Thanks. Smile
