This mod creates a new object titled"The Reforged Sword of OldBoy". Huge thanks to OldBoy, without whose creating of OldBoy's Broken Sword, this would not exist. Also thanks to whoever made blender, because without it, I couldn't have edited the model! Now without further ado, the stats of the weapon.
Damage:200
Weight:Light
Available Augment Slots:0
Initial Augmentations:Piercing, Sharpening, and Silver.
DescriptionThis is what happens when Briar screws with dimensional magic. A portal opens up and out comes a random object right at her head. In this case, it was OldBoy's sword, from another dimension. Luckily for her, it was the pommel that hit her, not the blade. In the dimension this sword came from, Oldboy was awoken by the ambushing rock trolls' incessant grumbling, and drew his sword, slaying all but one, who was defeated by OldBoy's final strike, only to have his beloved sword shatter. Heartbroken that his greatest ally against evil was destroyed, OldBoy sought to repair his sword, seeking the help of Albion's greatest bladesmiths. None would help. Sitting on the boasting pedestal at lookout point, with his sword's remains in his lap, OldBoy sulked, unaffected by the gathering crowd's incessant cheers. After about 12 hours the crowd ran off, realizing that there wouldn't be any boasting that day. OldBoy still sat there, pained by his loss, when a stranger, garbed in black, came to him with a proposition. Oldboy could have his sword back, if he gave the stranger one million gold pieces. Naturally the heartbroken hero accepted, for he would have paid ten times that just to have his sword halfway restored, so powerful was his longing for it's return to proper use. He followed the stranger to a hut, on the outskirts of Greatwood. There the stranger revealed his face, and it turned out he was a very young man, probably in his early twenties. He said he was a mage by trade, and that with his magics, he could restore OldBoy's sword to it's former glory. All he needed was his payment and every shard of the weapon, down to the last millimeter, and he could reforge it perfectly, with no gain in size, and all of it's former power. So, OldBoy handed over the gold, as well as his sword, and went to sleep for the night. When he awoke, the results were magnificent. So happy the Hero was, that he paid out another four million gold for the wonderful work. And then he went out into the Hobbe Caves, to test the durability of his reforged blade. Just as he was about to decapitate his first hobbe since he lost the blade, Briar's portal appeared and sucked it out of his hands, leaving him at the mercy of four hundred hungry hobbes. He died, the most foul curses he knew on his lips.

JohnDoe wrote on Thu, 14 April 2011 21:01 | What makes me laugh is that no one seems to understand the origin of OldBoy's broken sword. "Broken Sword" is the name of one of the heroes/assassins in this movie. He was called that for his, well, broken sword. It's not like that broken sword in Lord of the Rings that was later reforged. But whatever, this looks pretty cool. Nice work.

Thanks guys!

Thanks. It was actually a relatively simple procedure. I exported OldBoy's model, opened it up in blender, and pinched the verts of the broken part into one meeting point with the pinch tool in sculpt mode, then dragged said meeting point out into the length of a respectable sword using the grab tool, and corrected any directional errors caused by my viewing angle. Then I exported the finished version, loaded morerunes' sword template, deleted the mesh, then imported the new one into there, placed helpers where they went, selected everything, and exported.
