Try searching it in Cbox. Or ShadowNet FE

Only difference between FE and Shadownet is that Shadownet has a search function and can properly pack script.bin edits in FMPs. Search for "particles\texture\" in textures.big, that will take you to textures used in effects. Should be three, one for fury, one for wrath, and an unused one presumably to be used with a neutral version of the spell. Perhaps it was meant to be dynamic based on alignment but was never put in place because it would have required changing up their entire spell system.

DXT1-Alpha:0; DXT3-Alpha:1. Import as DXT3, alpha will automatically switch to 1 (the same is true if you import as DXT1).

You can edit alpha textures in almost any modern image editor these days. Obviously not MSPaint.

It had two textures because there were two different submeshes and marco didn't feel like making one texture with a piece of alpha and the rest not, it's a whole lot easier. Alpha only affects part of the image. You can use gimp's colorify tool to get it into whatever coloring you want, and it ignores the alpha. Rolling Eyes

There's your problem. Scale the image back down to its original dimensions, then try again. Rolling Eyes

Hardly. The problem is the effects themselves. You can turn the texture green and the effect will still glow blue, because that's what it does. Editing the effects will be necessary to get the desired result.
