hi. I was hoping that someone would be able to make this new seat of armor based on Roman legionnaire armor. I dont care if you dont bother with the helmet but it would be super cool if you made it aswell and if you could even though I dont have a picture of them I would like Roman sandels for shoes. thank you

I have actually considered doing something like this at one point. The chestplate was going to be Thunder's torso sleeveless and w/out shoulders with another bit underneath, helmet would be the chainmail bit adjusted a bit with mohawk added to it. Everything retex'd of course.
For trousers, Thunder's legs could work for those as well, or you can go with one of Ailia's armor pieces and retex those instead. Gloves, again Thunder's would work, retextured. And the default dress shoes work for sandals.
I make no promises because 99.999% of the time I never finish the stuff I start, but I might, possibly, by chance start working on something like this again. If I do and get to a point where I can start showing renders or stuff like that, I'll let you know.

Well maybe the main reason is because it's time consuming. I don't think anyone would want to waste their time to make something that only a few people would download.Unless, one has much patience.

Actually, Albion is an ancient term for the general area of England, and was used prior to the Roman invasions.

who really cares there is no need to be pedantic. I was just saying that I thought it would be cool if there was roman or Greek armor. and who knows maybe it has been hidden in a demon door since the Romans time and then you come along and find it.

If it does get done, I doubt it will be soon. Like JohnDoe said, he doesn't finish the large majority of his projects, but he did consider doing this at one point. He didn't make it clear if he would get around to it, but that there is a chance he might. Personally, I'll bet he'd do a pretty darn good job if he gets around to it, based on all his other mods. *Sigh* I wish morerunes was back to modding Fable... He was a great asset to the forums.

Or we could not be lazy and contribute to the community with our own mods .
|
+1
This is a community not a store. While we have a request section we have never said that every one made will be fulfilled nor would we. Also you cannot expect a single member to make everything, try learning yourself and you'll find plenty of people willing to help.
|
You're absolutely right guys. My comment was unneeded, and I agree that a single person isn't able to mod for an entire community. Alright, well... I am currently learning the ropes of the Shadownet Explorer, and I find it rather easy to identify and modify many things in there. I'm not sure why I found it complicated a couple years back.

You should've been around when it was the early days of the original Fable Explorer and we were still learning what most of the xml entries did. Those were interesting days..
All this was just fields and we had to walk 10 miles in the snow to edit a cdef etc....

| As was subtly alluded to by Satan, I was using sarcasm. I thought the "would explain the accents" would be enough of a tipoff but I can't account for everyone.

| You get a cookie.
The reason I take on projects is because I learn something from them, and in this way I gain something. But in this, I have nothing to learn and nothing to gain. It did sound somewhat interesting, I laid out an easy way to go with this, but I won't be taking it on.

Actually I wasn't around back then. Can't imagine it being very fun though.
