I have searched on the search bar on this site, and on google for answers. I downloaded Fable explorer beta 4, from this site, but, when I open up the winzip that contains the file, and try to click it or extract it, I get this probblem:

"C:/Users/Public/FableExplorer.zip: Unexpected end of archive.
C:/Users/Public/FableExplorer.zip: CRC failed in FableExplorer. The file is corrupt."

Is there another download you have that I could use, or is there a simpler explenation to solving this issue?
I am using Windows 7.

Use a different browser. Opera/Firefox/Chrome etc.

Yeah either the site hates IE or IE hates the site, but either way, zip files, a large portion of apps, and a few FMPS and/or BIGs get corrupted in the download process with IE here.

Read the site rules, as well as individual thread rules, stickies and announcements, and use search, or you will have smartassy or exasperated ownage rained down upon you by the site's crack team of mods and admins. Also, you can find all you need to get started on modding here.

I was wodering that, because I had issues sometimes on the KotOR filefront site with IE, so I tried again with FireFox, but I got a similar response when trying again.

"C:/Users/Revan/FableExplorer.zip: The archive is either in unknown format is damaged"

I did find a working file (offsite) after searching more, but I don't know if I am allowed to post the file link here?

.... Is your version of firefox up to date? Because I know there's no problem with the file.

I checked the help button, to check for updates, and it said there was no updates available.

I might only be one of the few to have this issue. I have only seen about 3 people on google search, with this probblem. It might be my laptop (it's new, so should be okay). Similar issue I had, was with a private sever that wouldent run on my pc, but would run on my laptop. So, maybe it's just my laptop beeing a B1+ch to me.

I got the other download of this file to work perfectly. It is a Great Tool, thanks for making it. Grin

It could have been your antivirus messing with the file, too.

Glad you got it working in the end though.

Thing is, that, Norton didnt say anything about it until I downloaded the other file that worked. This was exactly What I got every time (see below): The first few times with IE and FF, when trying to exstract or use Fable Explorer Beta 4:

It wouldn't. That's why it's a bad Antivirus.

You may use Zip file repair. Tool extracts, analyzes and repairs invalid .zip info. It is able to display the number and content of restored .zip archives.

A:You posted on a dead thread. Check dates.
B:That program is an uneccesary waste of time and disk space, as the problem is that the user downloaded the program with IE, and the site HATES Internet explorer.
C:I find it highly suspicious that your first post is the reccomendation of a program to someone who last signed on a year ago.
