I've searched and nothing helps.
I tried the regular version and get the same error as everyone else.
I tried shadownet but all I get is "shadownet" and it dosent have a file type.
Nothing helps.
I have a steam version, Run on windows 7 and Have Framework 4.0.3
or something like that. Plz help!
Regular Version error:
"object reference not set to an instance of an object.
from: at fableExplorer.frmMain.Main()"

Hmm,i own both the steam and non-steam version, everything works for me except AE and ChocoBox but that is because Fable Steam Edition creates a different registry then non-steam Fable.Anytime i add the steam registry i get "external component has thrown an exception." Anyways, have you tried looking into this thread : http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=9043& ;amp ;start=0&
Also, do you have the prerequisites
No, no word of a lie, never' a lie, seventeen cows I stopped 'em with moi.. one 'and.

Edit: It now spontaneously works...
I have a new problem. I downloaded The def.xml and at the beginning It says:
"There is an unclosed literal string. Line 21844, postition 28."
I pressed ok and it continued loading up but when I went to edit my hero and click on Creature_Hero It said:
"unhandled exception has occured. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
Then i clicked details and got:
See the end of this message for details on invoking

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I am completley confused and could use some help.
