Hello guys .
So this is my VERY FIRST model I am posting on this forum so please if you see problems with the model please tell me .
The sword I maid I named it "Albion's Hope" with a little backround history in it's description .

Albion's Hope

I hope you guys like it .
*Because I forgot one little thing... When you import the fmp go at graphics.big and open the mesh of "MESH_ALBION'S_HOPE_FIXED" and then "materials" choose "Mesh_002" and change the "Texture Flags:" from 0 to 1.

When I try to apply the fmp, I get an FE error saying that it is an "invalid file type"

No one tells jwc what to do... And it seems that you had the object linked to a CInventoryItemDef entry that isn't included in the fmp. I would assume that you would want that whereas that is linked to text entries telling what the name of the sword is. The text entries are also missing from the fmp. It is a nice first sword though Smile

I uploaded a fixed version of the weapon by REcreating the object and importing the model again. I edited the name and the description and the CWeaponDef and I saved the changes. I pressed "New mod package" and then I clicked the "Get Modified" button in order to get the changes I maid into an fmp. (When I did that I encoutered an error. It said Object not supported or something like that).

Wtf did you do? Alright first of all the texture isn't linked correctly. And the texture layers is set to 0 in the fmp. I changed everything to make it work, but it doesn't. I think ya got urself a bad polygon or somethin like that. I don't know how to fix it. It's kind of strange...

well... It works on my fable :/ but anyway... I guess I an not really good at the moddeling stuff... :/

Agreed. Here's a story of everything life will ever be:
Fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, success. Except maybe a few more fails scattered in there and sometimes there isn't a success at the end:?
