Just wondering if there is a mod out there or if anyone would be willing to create one that adds dyes to the game to change the color of the hero's clothes?

Yeah, that's not possible. You want different coloring, each type of clothing suit(excepting the Archon's Platinum Battle Armor) has variants in different colors which affect your alignment and overall appearance to people. Go nuts.

Not a problem. If there were at least remains of an attempted dye system, something MIGHT be done by someone with an incredible amount of skill and even more incredible amount of free time, but as it is, such things are far out of the realm of possibility.
