Damn, that looks cool. If I may make a suggestion, however, you might want to have some sort of contrast between the little raised bit with holes(never did find an accurate name for that bit) and the blade itself.

Neat retexture. I'll have try it out once I've reinstalled fable.

I think that's supposed to be part of the tang.
