- Get and install the .net framework v1 from the microsoft website
- Get and install Winrar
- Use Winrar to unpack the app
- Run the freeroam app
- Select wad file
- Select destination folder (this is where freeroam will dump the files)
- Choose "patched" option to enable free roam
- Hit "rip" and wait for a while
After you have done this you should be left with a folder containing lev and tng files. Everything except files named "creature hub" should be placed in a folder called FinalAlbion within Data/Levels. The creature hub files should be placed in Data/Levels.
After you have done this you will most likely need to edit one of the .ini files (I forget which one). The line you're looking for is UseCompiledWorld. Change the false to true.
Once this is done rename or delete the .wad file in Data/Levels (I recomend rename) so that the game will only load the extracted levels.
