1 - If you're refering to giving yourself items from the game for free such as armour, weapons etc then the best way is to edit the content of a chest of some sort. I usually use the guilds demon door chest as it is the easiest to get to.

2 - A good way for lots and lots of xp is to edit the potions which give you experience in that skill. They are currently set at 1000 i think but i have changed them to 999999999 before which equals unlimited xp.
