To disable the sound of physical barrier you just need to go to SPECIAL_ABILITIES_PHYSICAL_SHIELD_DEF, SPECIAL_ABILITIES_PHYSICAL_SHIELD_DEF_INSTANCE, and go to one setting bellow CastSound (its an unknown) and change it to 0. Also the three unknown below it (in other words, all the unknowns between CastSound, and EndSound, but not CastSound and EndSound themselves). That will get rid of the physical barrier sound on all levels.
