If you were reading my guide, I advise you to read the whole thing, not just bits and pieces.

Now, if I have already been there, regardless of whether or not I opened the chest, I can't change the contents because the damn save file has sucked up all the info it needs to remember what is supposed to be in that chest. What I can do is change the UID, effectively "tricking" Fable into thinking there is a new chest there.
