Sounds like a Vista/Windows 7 VirtualStore file cache issue. I take it you didn't read the sticky that says "VISTA USERS READ THIS".

Delete directory:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters
