I think I now have a full 1st person mode working.....
I tired the invisible berserk mods that were linked above, but the mesh was upside down and inverted for some reason so I messed with the scales and 0.1 seems to work for all bones...

Changed the hero config files so that he hero is not visible(tiny character that is shifted on the z axis) and also editing the camera_mode(with FE 4.1) ,
camera_pc_close(dollylength from 1.5 to 0.1) and
camera_pc_near(dollylenth from 3 to 2)
if you zoom in, whilst in game it should go into 1st person mode, few glitches here and there but I would say pretty damm good!
Another test...ps my research is on Natural landscapes in games, so glad I could include Fable as the environments are lovely....
Will post the config files later(but you cnan copy & paste the setting above if u want)
