Hope someone here can still respond to this, I know it's 2020 and all and the forum isn't as lively as it could be, haha.
I want to clarify, I don't need help making custom eyes or anything. They're straight-forward and simple enough. However, I've noticed the game seems to print over a pupil and a light blue filter over the Hero eyes no matter what it seems. Is it possible to edit these values in Shadownet? I already checked the eye values for CREATURE_HERO and the values in there don't seem to control that. Perhaps these are hex values or something else that just isn't possible to be edited with the tools we have right now? I'm going to include a comparison photo, on the left, how the game normally displays the eyes, and on the right showing them exactly how I intended them to be. The second picture in question was taken right after sacrificing a henchmen at the Chapel of Skorm and as soon as I moved the Hero, the eyes went back to how they look normally. No idea what conditions were met to make it look like this, but it can be replicated as this was the second time it happened.
If the pic on the right isn't clear enough, here it is on imgur: https://imgur.com/sw46OEe
Here's the other pic of the intended eye showing up: https://imgur.com/oh3Zx1N
Here's the pic on the left if it's not clear enough: https://imgur.com/ph3vMxu
And here's what the HERO_NORMAL_EYE looks like for even better comparison: https://imgur.com/6jXodCe
God mode.
