1) Download ShadowNet here
2) Download updated def.xml here
3) Move the def.xml file to the ShadowNet folder
4) Run ShadowNet as admin
5) Go to File->Open and change the file type to search for .bin files
6) Open names.bin and then game.bin

If ShadowNet doesn't load or it has Fable TLC files loaded, change the directory in the config.xml in the ShadowNet folder.

Hey, could anyone help me out with Fable Explorer? I haven't been able to get it to work.

So, I followed the instructions as best I could and I downloaded that Shadow.net.

I went into config.xml and set install directory to ProgramFiles(x86)\Fable Anniversary. I set UseRegistry to FALSE.

Once in fable explorer, I opened names.bin and game.bin from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Fable Anniversary\WellingtonGame\FableData\Build\Data\CompiledDefs \Development

and I proceeded to 'save mods and run fable', which gave me the error: System could not find file specified.

So... can someone help me out?

It's a Fable TLC modding application. It searches for the Fable.exe but it's not there because it's Fable Anniversary. It'll save the mods. Just run it from the actual Fable Anniversary executable.

Any idea how I can get the texture morphs to load? They wont show up in Shadownet, oddly enough. Image attached.

Hallo,

i hope that people still watch this in 2019 xD
i really try to follow this step on step but still, after i open FE, the left squares are all empty...

I installed Fable Anniversary on a external hard drive.

But i think i still get it right with the install directory... hope someone could help me out?

It could be the extra backslash you have at the end of your directory in the config file. Try changing it to "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fable Anniversary"
