My problem is that the snow is blinding me and the sky doesn't change in different regions. It seems that it doesn't rain in Knothole Glade anymore either. How do I fix this.

Are you sure its mod related and not graphics related? Only the rain and several other atmospherics are controlled by the user_st.ini...

have you been making .bin changes?

this has happened to me too, i have no idea as to what causes it

i just noticed one day that all the atmospheres were the same and that all the little ambience things were gone, i tried for a while to figure this out to no avail

the only way to fix it is to not mod your game.bin which is just not a good option

i've just learned to live with it
