i cannot seem to figure out how to spawn a chest with equipment in it. any help with that would be great

i tried that, but i just couldnt get it to work... is there an easier way? and if not, is there any other ways to get weapons?

Yes there is an easier way to get "weapons".

Go to CREATURES in FE, scroll down a till you see "CREATURE_HERO". Open it up, and scroll down a till you see Weapon 1 and Weapon 2. Inside them both will be a 0, change that 0 to the number of the weapon you want. If I wasn't a good enough teacher then go here.

Kind of, when you get the weapons from this method, save and replace the numbers, you'll keep the weapons you got before and have the ones you added now.

In other words, two at a time.
